DAR conference to begin Thursday

NORMAN — The Oklahoma Society Daughters of the American Revolution will have its 104th state conference Thursday through Saturday at the Embassy Suites in Norman.

The theme is “Where Eagles Dare,” hosted by the Kiamichi District. Pat Miller McFall, Oklahoma state regent, will welcome members and guests Danna Cheryle Spence Koelling, national vice chairman of the DAR genealogy preservation committee; Judith Annette Harlan Chaffin, vice president general; and keynote speaker Maj. Gen. Myles L. Deering.

Also speaking will be Duncan native Cindi Broaddus, sister-in-law of Dr. Phil McGraw of the “Dr. Phil” television program.
