NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma Housing Center Student Association will host its annual Halloween Extravaganza from 4-8 p.m. on Monday in Adams Center Residence Hall, 346 W. First St., and on the Walker-Adams Mall just East of Adams Center. The event is free and open to the public.

The Halloween Extravaganza will consist of an outdoor fall carnival and a trick-or-treat. The fall carnival will run from 4-7 p.m. on the Walker-Adams Mall.

Trick-or-treating will be from 4-8 p.m. in the Adams Center Residence Hall. In addition to trick-or-treating, children can experience a monster fun house and participate in a costume contest. Allergy-friendly candy options will be provided, and trained student guides will accompany children at all times. All activities at the Halloween Extravaganza are geared toward elementary-age students.

To fully enjoy the Halloween Extravaganza and alleviate parking concerns, families are encouraged to ride the Spooky Bus from the Lloyd Noble Center, 2900 S. Jenkins Ave. to Adams Center. The Spooky Bus is a collaborative effort between HCSA and Cleveland Area Rapid Transit. This free transportation service will be offered from 3:45-8:15 p.m. the day of the event. Families should park on the north side of the Lloyd Noble Center and board the Spooky Bus at the center median.

More information about the Halloween Extravaganza and accommodations on the basis of disability are available by calling Brian Rock at 325-2511.
