NORMAN — On March 15-17, Dennis Butler and his Labrador Retriever, Henry, will be among the contenders in Tulsa competing in the American Kennel Club National Agility Championship.
During the event, Butler and Henry will run timed agility courses, off-leash, striving for a perfect score of 100. Any missed obstacles or other mistakes result in penalty faults which are deducted from the score.
This year marks the 17 National Agility Championship and fourth Preferred National Agility Championship for dogs jumping lower than their measured jump height, as well as the 19 National Obedience Championship and the inaugural AKC Rally National Competition.
