NORMAN — Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Oklahoma City has named William “Will” Banowsky director of development and mission integration. A Norman resident, Banowsky brings a lifelong passion for community service to the position.
“At 99 years-old, Catholic Charities has a rich history of providing assistance to Oklahomans when they need it most. I’m thrilled to work for this incredible organization that not only improves the lives of others, but also allows me to integrate my faith with my work life,” Banowsky said.
Banowsky holds a juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma Law School, as well as a bachelor’s degree in international business and management from OU’s Price College of Business. While at OU, he was a student peer minister and led fundraising efforts for St. Thomas More University Parish. Most recently, he worked in the University of Oklahoma Alumni Outreach program, where he led student teams in annual giving campaigns.
“Will brings an incredible enthusiasm and experience to his new position with Catholic Charities. We are excited to welcome him as we launch Catholic Charities into its next century,” said Tim O’Conner, executive director of Catholic Charities.
