Library hosts insurance panel to discuss post-storm options

NORMAN — The Oklahoma Insurance Department and Moore Public Library are teaming up to present a public forum for those who have questions about insurance options and situations in the wake of the May tornadoes.

The forum will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Room A of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

The Oklahoma insurance commissioner and staff members will discuss ways to file a claim, what to do when claims are denied, how to file a complaint and how to spot fraud.

Attendees can ask questions about individual insurance concerns.

Space is limited, and registration is required in advance.
