Assistance League of Norman to host Holiday Home Tour

NORMAN — Assistance League of Norman will host the Holiday Home Tour 2013 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 22-23.

This year’s tour includes five privately owned homes in Norman, all decorated for the holidays.

Proceeds from the annual event benefit the philanthropic programs of Assistance League of Norman, such as Assault Survivor Kits, Bears For Children, Care Kits, May Fair Arts Festival, Operation School Bell, Seniors R & R and Community Outreach 2013.

“We have exceptional families who will open their decorated homes for our tour this year,” said Jennifer Sanders, 2013 new members chairperson for Assistance League. “The tour is the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, just in time to inspire us all.”

On tour this year are the homes of Ben Graves, 1030 Joe Keely Drive; Curtis and Jennifer McCarty, 4748 Ridgeline Drive; Chris and Heather McCormick, 3808 Hidden Hill Road; Mike and Debbie McCurdy, 608 Waterwood Drive; and Bob and Lea Johnston, 4713 Windrush Circle.

House sponsors include Oklahoma Foam Insulation and Roofing, The Learia Group, Coldwell Banker Heart of Oklahoma Real Estate, McClain Bank and Bob and Lea Johnston.

Anyone interested in purchasing a ticket for $25 can visit norman.assistanceleague.org or Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St.; Brockhaus Jewelry, 2107 W. Organizers ask that no children under the age of 12 participate in the tour.
