NORMAN — Residential customers in Norman can take old cooking oils, animal fats and meat grease to the city’s Transfer Station to be recycled.
The 300-gallon recycling unit is at the Sanitation Department’s Transfer Station at 3901 S. Chautauqua Ave. and is free to residential customers.
The facility is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The program includes only cooking grade fats, oils and grease, not petroleum products.
