NORMAN — The Moore Supercuts, 2016 S. Interstate 35 Service Road, will present a check Saturday to ShelterOklahomaSchools.org to further its mission to equip all schools in the state with storm shelters.
Rep. Mark McBride and several other state legislators will be on hand for the ceremony.
This Supercuts location has been taking in donations since May, with the intention of putting the money toward a tornado relief effort project.
“I’m really looking forward to this occasion,” said McBride, R-Moore. “Every bit helps, and to know that this Supercuts has been taking in donations is great news.
“And deciding to donate the money to ShelterOklahomaSchools.org is heart-warming to me, as our top priority moving forward needs to be ensuring the safety and security of our children while they are away at school.”
In addition to the donation above, the Supercuts location will donate 100 percent of its Saturday shampoo sales to ShelterOklahomaSchools.org.
