Hemphill Drive closure
Weather permitting on Thursday, Central Contracting Services — under contract with Norman — will begin concrete panel and curb/gutter replacement on Hemphill Drive between 24th Avenue Northwest and south of Merchant Drive.
The project will require that Hemphill Drive be closed at the intersection with 24th Avenue. The recommended detour will be 24th Avenue, Boardwalk and Merchant Drive. Barricades will be placed to aid the traveling public.
Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 25.
