NORMAN — An agreement between the Cleveland County sheriff and the Town of Lexington for housing of prisoners at the F. DeWayne Beggs Detention Center was approved Tuesday.
The county’s Board of Commissioners approved the $48 per day contract in routine business at the weekly meeting.
Commissioners opened bids and tabled contracts for sod and coverall cleaning. They again delayed agreements for website design and an inmate telephone system.
A permit sought by Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. for a pipeline crossing on Indian Hills Road was approved.
