Library sets free class schedule

NORMAN — The Norman Public Library will resume its schedule of free computer classes in February in the Computer Training Center, 225 N. Webster Ave.

Each class consists of verbal and visual instruction and includes guided practice through various activities.

Among the offerings are classes on social networking platforms and a computer security class offered Feb. 12 by Dave Moore.

Patrons may confer with a librarian about their computer skills and what the Computer Training Center can provide to enhance those skills by calling 701-2697. Patrons can enroll for classes online under the Computer Class schedule at justsoyouknow.us/norman.

Beginning Mouse and Keyboarding Skills — 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday

Computers, Inside and Out — 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday

Windows, Part 1: The Operating System and Desktop — 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday

Windows, Part 2: Navigating the Internet — 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday

Windows, Part 3: Manage Your Files — 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday
