NORMAN — Norman police found a roasted pig’s head Sunday in the United States Postal Service box on Asp Avenue and White Street.

Police said a passerby called it in around 11:20 a.m.

Capt. Tom Easley said police notified the postal service, who came down and collected the pig’s head and cleaned off the drop box. Arrangements were made to also check inside the box for further cleaning.

“There were some indications someone had earlier seen the pig’s head further down the street in a different location,” Easley said.

A police report was not requested for the incident.
