Community Education Event planned

NORMAN — Norman Specialty Hospital will present its third annual Community Educational Event, “Taking Charge of your Health,” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 30 at Norman Specialty Hospital in Building B.

Topics will include what is available through Medicare, Meals on Wheels, the Norman Senior Citizens Center, Full Circle, Cleveland County YMCA and legal topics such as advanced directives, power of attorney and DNR.

Breakfast and registration will begin at 8:45 a.m., with the first presentation beginning at 9. Lunch will be served at 11:40, prior to the noon presentation. The final presentation will wrap up by 1 p.m.
