ARLINGTON, Texas —
Marcus McNac drove in from Austin to catch the game. It was a perfect matchup and atmosphere for him also.
“I have no problem with the game being played here,” said McNac, who is a die-hard Sooner fan. “Bigger venue, more people. Not like a fair atmosphere with kids everywhere.”
The Sooners were in town for almost a full week preparing for the game. When they weren’t practicing, they had nothing but good things to say about the entire bowl experience.
“The A&T Cotton Bowl has been a great bowl,” Justin Brown said. “They have treated us well the entire time we have been down here. It is everything that I have expected it to be.”
