NORMAN — The Cleveland County Master Gardeners will present a series of basic “how to garden” workshops on Saturday mornings during March.
The series is designed for those have the urge but have never had the opportunity to learn about gardening.
Topics will cover aspects of vegetable and ornamental gardening and will include demonstrations and instructions. Each session will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds, Meeting Room C.
Series topics and dates are:
· March 9: Planning/Creating Garden Space
· March 16: Soil Preparation/Planting
· March 23: Flowers and Vegetables (includes a tour of the demo garden)
· March 30: Maintaining the Garden

cleveland/horticulture or at the Cleveland County Oklahoma Cooperative Extension, 601 E. Robinson St. in Norman. Registration is $25 and is due no later than March 1.
