School immunizations are scheduled

NORMAN — Parents are encouraged to keep their children up-to-date on all recommended vaccines.

Oklahoma requires children to be current on vaccinations before enrolling in school to protect the health of all students.

Below is the Cleveland County Health Department’s schedule for Back to School Clinics and a list of locations providing immunizations, hours of operation and contact information.

Please bring a current shot record to the immunization sites. Appointments are not necessary.

The Oklahoma Caring Van and the Oklahoma City-County Health Department provides services to children who are Medicaid eligible, uninsured and Native American.

Aug. 5-23, Norman

Extended immunization hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 250 12th Ave. NE, 321-4048

July 29-Aug. 16, Moore

Extended immunization hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m Monday through Friday, 424 S. Eastern Ave., 794-1591

Passport Health accepts most major insurance carriers and eligible Sooner Care/Medicaid benefits.
