NORMAN — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday night in the area of North Porter Avenue and East Franklin Road.
Emergency personnel arrived on the scene around 9:30 p.m. and discovered an accident involving a mini-van and a compact car. The driver of the mini-van and the passenger of the compact car were transported to Norman Regional Hospital.
The driver of the compact car was transported to OU Medical Center in critical condition.
According to preliminary information and witnesses, the min-van failed to stop at the four-way stop at the intersection and collided with the compact car while it was attempting to negotiate a turn, a Norman Police press release stated.
The Norman Police Department and the University of Oklahoma Collision Incident Reconstruction Team are investigating the incident.
