Holiday sale to start Friday

NORMAN — An annual shopping sale returns Friday to Muse, the museum store at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. The Holiday Grab Bag Sale offers 15 to 40 percent discounts on total purchases from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A preview of some of the store’s merchandise is available on the FJJMA website under the Shop link at ou.edu/fjjma.

The museum also will host Art “à la Carte,” a monthly partnership in conjunction with the Norman Art’s Council’s 2nd Friday Circuit of Art, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will include food, drink, live music by Sherree Chamberlain and complimentary ornament decorating.

In observance of the holidays, the museum will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The museum is closed all Mondays and will reopen with normal operating hours on Jan. 2.
