MOORE — World Vision will distribute toys Saturday to children of families impacted by the tornadoes in Moore.
The toys will be distributed by World Vision’s Office of Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College, 3701 S. Frontage Road in Moore.
The event, called “Day of Caring,” will begin at 9:30 a.m. with registration. Pre-registration is not required but is recommended. Call 253-778-5903 to submit children’s names and ages.
In addition to receiving new toys, children will decorate Christmas cookies. There also will be face painting, crafts and hot dogs.
World Vision will take photos and video at the event to use to promote their work in helping children, youth, families and communities. Consent forms will be available for parents/guardians to sign.
