Oklahoma Bar Association plans statewide blood drive

NORMAN — Oklahoma Bar Association President Jim Stuart has organized a statewide day of service event on behalf of the OBA in the form of a blood drive.

The Cleveland County Bar Association, in conjunction with the Red Cross, is sponsoring a blood drive noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 20 at Cleveland County Courthouse in the county commissioner’s meeting room.

The Oklahoma University Legal Clinic is also assisting by providing a number of students to assist as volunteers and donors.

County Bar Association from across the state are scheduling various events in a coordinated effort to show attorneys giving back to the community.
