Cleveland County Community Response Team to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month

NORMAN — The Cleveland County Coordinated Community Response Team, a multidisciplinary effort serving domestic violence victims and seeking offender rehabilitation, will host events to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

At 1:30 p.m. Friday, a domestic violence simulation will be at McFarlin United Memorial Church, 419 S. University Blvd.

A Silent Witness simulation will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 29 at Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster Ave.

The team includes representatives from the Cleveland County District Attorney’s office, Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, Norman Police Department, Moore Police Department, Lexington Police Department, Noble Police Department, OU Police Department, Oklahoma City Police Department, Women’s Resource Center, OU Women’s Outreach Center, CommunityWorks, Private Batterer’s Intervention providers, Ministerial Alliance and Oklahoma Court Services.
