Fallin should help residents

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

I see this week that our empty skirt of a governor asked the federal government (small business administration) for much money. She is concerned about the suffering of the business owners in Lexington and Purcell because the state has neglected to maintain the bridge between these two towns. This is amazing.

Less than a year ago, she turned down $52 million that would have helped our rural hospitals and 150,000 Oklahomans who suffer without health insurance.

Now, I also have sympathy for the business owners in these towns and hope the Big Bad Boogie Man (federal government) will help them stay in business, but what HYPOCRISY to turn down millions for the uninsured who suffer without health insurance and then turn around and ask the Feds for millions to help suffering businesses.

My daddy always said that the Democrats are for the working man and the unfortunate and the Republicans are for the wealthy and the business owners. I guess this is a perfect example of the wisdom in his words.
