The upcoming referendum for upgrades and improvements to Norman’s wastewater treatment capabilities is not in fact a question of money, profits, fines or taxes, but it is a question of ethics and moral responsibility.
Every day, the average Norman citizen takes relatively cheap, high quality water into their home and returns it to the city loaded with urine, feces, coffee grounds, household cleaning products and who know what else. Can we really not step up, take responsibility and help to mitigate our own impact on this precious resource?
