Seeking accountability

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

What direction are the politicians taking this country? How have they impacted us by achieving a government, of the people, by the people, for the people? What have they actually accomplished this past year? What have been the results of their actions? How have they helped all the people?

Ask your politician to provide you with a written plan for the next session, with a letter of dates and actual accomplishments, and continue this after each session.

It is my opinion that politicians spend too much time talking and need to seek out how we can be helped by them achieving integrity, accountability and trust in their actions, starting with town hall and business meetings.

Too many politicians are satisfied with actions and results that support lobbyists, re-election and greed. It is time for them to be accountable for their actions and provide a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

I am not aware of any business that could be successful with a R.O.I that is being achieved by our current politicians.
