Norman lost a talented man

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

With the passing of Gail Poole, Oklahoma and the city of Norman and Gail’s many friends have lost a great talent and a kind and helpful person.

Most, if not all, of Gail’s paintings are in the style of Vincent Van Gogh.

A wonderful painter, Gail was also an activist for public transportation, and he was a member of the board of directors of Common Cause Oklahoma. Until shortly before his physical decline, he drove others to CCOK board meetings because they no longer drove to Oklahoma City.

He is greatly missed.
