No protection for owners

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Once again, Oklahoma lawmakers made another stupid decision.

The antitrust law that was enacted in 1941 made it illegal to sell products below cost.

This prevented large franchises with lots of money to open a business and sell below cost until it forced local shop owners out of business.

Oklahoma lawmakers just took away all protection for local business owners, leaving them — once again — without help from their own government.

Good luck, people. If it was me, I would do some serious complaining, very soon.
