NORMAN — Drivers and supervisors for Cleveland Area Rapid Transit met for breakfast, training and an information session Saturday morning at the Theta M. Dempsey Transportation Operations Center on the University of Oklahoma campus.
The information session focused on the May 28 moves to the new Brooks Street Transfer Station and Campus Depot.
The South Oval at OU, CART’s longtime transfer station, is closing to vehicular traffic to make way for a new scholar’s walk.
Two new transfer stations will be utilized.
Campus routes will travel into and out of Campus Depot, just west of the stadium on Asp Avenue. City routes and some campus routes will utilize the Brooks Street Transfer Station along Brooks near the Duck Pond parking lot.
