NORMAN — Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Episcopal Church for longtime Norman pharmacist Marcia Lynn Stockwell who died Sunday with her family by her side.
The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
“Marcie” was born Sept. 19, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to T.J. and Patricia Henry of Lawton. She graduated from Lawton Eisenhower High School in 1976 and continued her education at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in pharmacy.
She received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2001 and worked as a pharmacist at Ken’s Discount Pharmacy in Norman for more than 20 years.
At OU, she was an active member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and loved that her daughters continued the Pi Beta Phi legacy. She was an active member with the Junior League and Assistance League of Norman.
She married Dave Stockwell on April 26, 1986. The couple has two daughters, MacKenzie Stockwell Dennis and Madison Stockwell, both of Norman.
