Noble library announces events schedule

NORMAN — The Noble Public Library, 204 North 5th St., has announced events for March, kicking off with its spring book sale from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today, and from 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Preschoolers ages 2-5 are invited to attend story time at 10:30 Tuesday, and March 19. On March 12, there will be Make-N-Take crafts for preschoolers and on March 26 at 10:30 a.m., Magic of Music for Little Ones will be held.

Children ages 6-12 can receive free homework help by attending Homework Helpers at 3:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday except for spring break, March 18-22. The Homeschool book club will read “On the Blue Comet,” by Rosemary Wells. Children ages 5-10 are invited to read the book and meet with other children for discussion and crafts at 10 a.m. on March 13. Thursday Thing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday, excluding spring break. A family story time is slated for 10:30 a.m. today. The topic will be elephants.

Computer classes for adults aged 18 and up are slated for Monday: Microsoft Excel, March 11: Photo Sharing and March 18: Business Skills. Business for Breakfast is scheduled for March 26 at 8:15 a.m. The Noble Readers Book Discussion Group will be meet March 14 to discuss “The Marriage Plot,” by Jeffrey Eugenides.

Events for all ages include The Tuesday Afterschool Group at 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday and March 26.

The library will be open during spring break, March 18-22, but no children’s activities are scheduled. The library will be closed all day March 31.
