Teacher Job Fair set

NORMAN — Prospective teachers for the Norman Public Schools for the 2013-14 school year can attend the district’s Teacher Job Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Nancy O’Brian Center for Performing Arts at Norman North High School, 1809 Stubbeman Ave.

Every school in the district will participate, receiving resumés and conducting interviews in locations within the facility.

The job fair will assist the district in fulfilling staffing needs for the 2013-14 school year. Attendance isn’t a requirement to be offered a position within the district. However, the job fair allows candidates to become familiar with the district and for school administrators to become familiar with individuals interested in working at their schools.

District personnel staff also will be at the job fair to distribute information packets and answer questions.

For more information, contact NPS Personnel Services at 447-6599.

For a listing of current job openings in the district, which aren’t inclusive of all staffing needs, click on Employment Opportunities on the NPS Personnel page at www.norman.k12.ok.us.
