NORMAN — MAINSITE Contemporary Art is introducing MAINSITE LITE, a series of short exhibit projects. LITE projects last from one to three days and give curators, artists, musicians, performers and filmmakers the opportunity to share their work in a gallery setting.
Upcoming LITE projects include a concert presented by Opolis and the Norman Arts Council 8:30 p.m. today. The concert features experimental punk artists No Age (Sub Pop) with Denton electronic act New Fumes.
On Sept. 26, LITE will present a screening of “The Willing Suspension of Disbelief,” a film by Oklahomans Ryan Hauser and Brandon Maxwell. The film begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by an informal reception with cast and crew. A second screening is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Paramount, Oklahoma City, 701 W. Sheridan, Oklahoma City.
All LITE projects take place at MAINSITE, 122 E. Main St.
