Craigslist leads to larceny charge for three who allegedly stole man’s pants, valuables

NORMAN — Three people were charged in Cleveland County District Court after a plot to steal a man’s valuables went awry at a Norman hotel Saturday.

Two of the individuals, Heather and Pablo Nuncio, were charged Monday with conspiracy to commit larceny. Jennifer Andrea Plum, 35, of Oklahoma City was charged with conspiracy, larceny from a person and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

According to the affidavit filed with the charges, Plum had contacted the man they were planning to steal from on Craigslist and she was planning to have sex with him. Plum met the man at a Norman hotel and when the two went into the shower together, Heather “took all of the purses and ran from the room,” the affidavit said.

The man told police Heather Nuncio took his pants from the bathroom and when he saw her and came out, his cell phone, driver’s license, a credit card and about $600 to $700 in 100 dollar bills were missing. The affidavit said the value of the phones to replace was about $700.

The man then chased the women out of the hotel room and tried to catch them, the affidavit said. After notifying security, Plum was found hiding in a nearby field. When police later returned to the spot where she was found, they located both of the missing cell phones, the affidavit said.

Heather Nuncio was found hiding under a postal center vehicle parked beside her vehicle and Pablo Nuncio was found in a nearby courtyard. Pablo Nuncio told police Heather had put something in the SUV and then ran and hid somewhere, the affidavit said.

Two firearms were found in the vehicle registered to Heather and there was $500 in 100 dollar bills in a purse that she had taken from the hotel and put in the SUV prior to police finding her, records said.

Before police took Plum into custody, she dropped an Alprazalam in the chair she had been sitting in, the affidavit said. She admitted to police the pill was hers and she had placed it there.

Heather, 29, of Bethany, told police the three were planning to steal the man’s valuables on the way from the city.
