NORMAN — The Norman Fire Department responded to mutual aide call late Wednesday afternoon after an abandoned home caught on fire near East Lindsey Street and 72nd Avenue Southeast, according to Deputy Fire Chief Jim Bailey.
No injuries were reported. The structure, which was approximately 1,000 square feet, was totally involved when firefighters arrived around 2:30 p.m. Bailey said. The house appeared to be one that was damaged in a tornado a few years ago, he said.
