NORMAN — Veterans are invited to mark their calendars to attend the inaugural David Bolser Veterans Appreciation Breakfast to take place from 8 to 10 a.m. July 30 at Tiffany's Restaurant, 101 S. Main St.

David Bolser, a Navy veteran, said he wants to treat veterans to breakfast at Tiffany's as a way of giving back and thanking them for their service at a time other than Veterans Day.

“I decided to do this to help out the veterans because they don't get paid much at all,” Bolser said. “I've been blessed in my life and I feel like it’s time to give back.”

“I have decided this will be the start of an annual breakfast and we will share the financial burden with him,” said Gary Hicks, co-manager of Tiffany's. “It's enlightening to be asked to be part of a truly generous offer to feed any and all veterans for free in these tough economic times.”

The Hicks family and Bolser encourage veterans to attend. For more information, visit Tiffany's Restaurant or call 872-7576.
