Noble gears up for the annual city-wide garage sale

NORMAN — Noble residents are encouraged to start cleaning out closets, garages and sheds in preparation for the annual Citywide Garage Sale slated for Aug. 3. For that day only, garage sale permits will be waved. Permits for alternate or additional days may be obtained at Noble City Hall, 304 S. Main St.

Free garage sale signs for the event will be available starting July 29 while supplies last at Wolf Ink and Toner, 102 S. Main St. in Noble. To have an address added to the official Citywide Garage Sale map, call Dawn McNutt, executive director of the Noble Chamber of Commerce at 872-5535 before July 25. One thousand maps will be distributed and available at locations around town beginning July 27.

“The Noble Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank the City of Noble and chamber members for supporting the event with special appreciation to this year’s sponsors, Terry Beam of Terry’s Market and Jim Wolf of Wolf Ink and Toner for donating money and supplies to help make this community event possible,” McNutt said.

For more information, call McNutt at 872-5535.
