New e-edition for The Transcript

NORMAN — The Norman Transcript is launching a new e-edition today for those who prefer to view their news on mobile and computer devices.

“It looks nice, it’s easy to navigate and it’s more user-friendly,” said Vonnie Clark, regional circulation director for The Transcript.

The online edition will still look similar to the print edition of the newspaper, but Clark said the new e-edition will have less buttons to click and navigating the edition will be easier.

There will be options to see a summarization and an option to see just the story you are interested in reading. While reading individual stories, there also will be an option to make the font as big as you want, Clark said.

A search field also is included for those looking for a particular item in the newspaper.

The new e-edition also will automatically adjust to the device being used, whether it be a cell phone, regular PC or tablet, Clark said.

The edition will be available by visiting The Transcript’s website, normantranscript.com, and clicking on the “digital edition” tab on the left hand side of the web page.
