OKLAHOMA CITY -- Brian Grimm, an English teacher at Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, has been selected as Oklahoma's Teacher of the Year.
The selection by the Oklahoma Department of Education was announced Tuesday at the state fair in Oklahoma City.
Grimm, who has worked at the school for five years, is a graduate of the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha.
He will receive prizes including tuition waivers, use of a car for a year and about $10,000 in cash awards.
