Honor band to perform

NORMAN — The following Norman Public School band students will perform in concert Saturday in the annual University of Oklahoma seventh-grade honor band. The band is sponsored by the University of Oklahoma Collegiate Music Educators Association and the OU New Horizons Band.

The Norman middle school students are:

· Alcott: Myranda Pickering, Brooklyn Byrd, Emma Huntley, Caleb Brown, Pamela LeCrone, Emalyn Arthur. Kaitlyn Loomis, Lance Sisson, Abbie Burroughs, Sullivan Miller, Gabe Blanco, Cristhian Serna, Josh Stenis, Noah Zinn

· Irving: Kassandra Purcell, Katie Pendergraft, Marie Bitto, Abigail Taylor, Logan Clawson, Mason Cifeli, Jacob McWhirter, Eric Smith, Isabella Pollack, James Spencley, Tanner Bradley, Jaden Robinson, Kirsten Upton, Yemi Oyesanya

The concert will be at 1 p.m. at the Catlett Music Center. Admission is free.
