NORMAN — Hurricane Sandy’s effects can be felt in the heartland with the postponement of a lecture at the University of Oklahoma.
District Judge John E. Jones was scheduled to speak this afternoon. Because of the weather, Jones is unable to fly out of Pennsylvania, law professor Joseph Thai confirmed.
His talk, “Our Constitution’s Intelligent Design,” was scheduled for 4 p.m. today.
Thai said the university has not yet been able to determine when it will be rescheduled. Indications are that the event is effectively canceled, according to the university.
