— Nicolette D. Nicar, CPA, of Norman, director of financial operations with the University Of Oklahoma Gaylord College Of Journalism, was welcomed into the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants as a fellow member.

Jean Forsberg, M.D., FCAP, associate medical director at Oklahoma Blood Institute, has been named to the American Medical Association's Women Physicians Congress. In this role, Forsberg will work with the AMA on the Physician Mentor Program, as well as other initiatives. Forsberg is the first representative from the 17,000-member College of American Pathology to be named to the national group.

Sam Ott, of Norman, was named a life member of the Tree Bank Foundation in Oklahoma City. The Tree Bank Foundation, a non-profit organization providing trees to public lands and promoting tree planting statewide, was organized in 1987.
