The Norman Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the 2010 Tomorrow's Leaders program. High school sophomores can find applications at www.normanchamber.com/tomorrowsleaders. The applications are due at the chamber offices by 5 p.m. Friday.

The Tomorrow's Leaders program is designed to identify sophomores in the Norman area who have demonstrated leadership qualities and to help further develop their potential. The program, in its 22nd year, begins in January and will include 10 sessions covering such topics as team building, education and youth, communication, city and state government, community service and leadership styles. The program concludes in April in a joint graduation ceremony with members of Leadership Norman and Leaders Plus.

Brandon Hopper, First American Bank, and Chilton Marshall, United Way of Norman, will co-chair the program this year. Hopper and Marshall are graduates of the 2007 Leadership Norman class and Hopper served as co-chair of Tomorrow's Leaders this past year.

"Tomorrow's Leaders is an awesome opportunity for young adults to get a unique perspective of Norman," said Casey Vinyard, leadership development co-chair. "They will learn more about developing leadership qualities, how they can get further involved in the community and make a lot of great friends along the way."

For more information about Tomorrow's Leaders or any of the chamber's three leadership programs, call Katie Merrick at 321-7260, or e-mail katie.merrick@normanchamber.com.
