The following Norman Public School band students will participate Saturday in one of the Central Oklahoma Director's Honor Bands.

The Norman students are Carolyn Hewes, Tom Sievers and Emily Frech, Alcott Middle School; Jonathan Craig and Drew Mullinix, Irving Middle School; Brianne Johnson and Dillon Downey, Longfellow Middle School; Michelle Penrod, Blake Deemer and Morgan Smith, Whittier Middle School; Sarah Choi, Elizabeth Craig, Dalton Gaither, Hilary Lowery, Stephen Meiller, Garrett Sickles, Alecia Smith and Kylie Stowers, Norman High School; Kacie Morgan, Kira Rice, Lauren Cheney, Curren Myers, Dustin Downey, Sarah Enders, Michael Stafford, Natalie Carter and Brittney Self, Norman North High School.

All of these students successfully audition with other Band student from the central Oklahoma area to participate in this year's honor groups.

The CODA Honor Band Concert will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Sharp Hall in the University of Oklahoma's Catlett Music Center. Admission is free to the public.
