NEW: Robber hits Alameda business this morning

The Norman Police Department received a holdup alarm at 9:48 a.m. Monday, from a business in the 1000 block of East Alameda. An employee told arriving officers the store had just been robbed by a white male brandishing a handgun. An undisclosed amount on money was taken from the business.

The suspect was described as 28 to 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 150 to 200 pounds. The robber was wearing a blue baseball cap with a blond wig, a white dust mask, blue jacket and blue jeans. The suspect left in an unknown direction.
