Pesticide program offered

— The Cleveland County OSU Extension Service will offer a Pesticide Applicator Certification Program 6 p.m. Thursday at the Slaughterville Town Hall, 10701 U.S. Highway 77.
The program is designed to make individuals who apply pesticides on their own farm, ranch, or facility more aware of the best use practices as well as safety in using of pesticides.
After the presentation, participants may stay to complete the test. Application packets will be available for purchase. In order to purchase restricted-use pesticides, an individual must be a certified applicator.
