The American Legion Post 88 will celebrate it's 89th Birthday Monday at the American Legion Hall, 710 E. Main St. in Norman, at 7 p.m.
All Legionnaires and their families are invited to attend the celebration. Refreshments and birthday cake will be served.
Also, Boys' State applications have been provided to Norman High and Norman North High for the upcoming Boys State Convention to be in Miami, Okla., May 24-31. Post 88 expects at least 12 applicants from the high schools, which also is open to junior high boys.
Sponsors of Boys State participants are invited to call the post at 366-7575 for additional information.
