Legacy Trail design meeting Monday

— Monday, the City of Norman Parks and Recreation Department will hold the second of three public meetings to review possible design solutions for the extension of the Legacy Trail path along Jenkins Avenue, Duffy Street and Asp Avenue.
Public comments were taken on the project in January at the first public meeting, held in conjunction with the design and engineering firm of CH Guernsey and Company. Monday's meeting will show possible trail layouts, based on feedback that has been received from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, which is providing 80 percent of the funding for the project as part of a Transportation Enhancement Grant.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at the Municipal Complex, 201 West Gray St.
