An arrest warrant has been issued for a Texas man accused of touching a child inappropriately, according to court papers.
Cleveland County prosecutors charged Wade Daniel Flowers, 36, of Winnie, Texas, Tuesday with one count of lewd acts with a child.
According to a court affidavit, the alleged incident happened at a residence in Newalla between Aug. 15 and 25, 2008. An 8-year-old girl told investigators she was sleeping in a bed in her mother's bedroom when Flowers touched her inappropriately.
Flowers was reportedly dating the girl's mother when the alleged incident occurred.
The affidavit stated, the girl told investigators Flowers threatened to kill her mother and grandmother if she told anyone about what happened.
