Brumfield is the son of Ray and Lacenda Brumfield, Jr. Online high school valedictorian Norman native Transcript Staff Austin Brumfield of Norman is the valedictorian for the American Academy graduating class of 2009.
American Academy is an online high school completion program. Brumfield is the son of Ray and Lacenda Brumfield, Jr. He is a National Technical Honor Society recipient, was named Kiwanis Student of the Month and was an active member of Business Professionals of America where he served as his class representative. He has been listed on the "A" honor roll all four years of high school. Brumfield was involved in Youth and Government for three years and has been accepted by the University of Oklahoma. He plans to study engineering.
