Norman Police were responding to the site of what numerous Eagle Cliff addition residents said was an explosion Sunday night.

At about 10 p.m., three males were seen detained and police had taped off an area in a lot on a block where slabs for several homes have been laid. Police also taped off a house about a block and-a-half away. The department's bomb technician also was seen at the site where the incident was believed to have occurred.

The original call to police came about 8 p.m. and directed responding units to 1105 Sparrow Hawk Drive.

The addition is located west of 12th Avenue SE and south of East Cedar Lane Road, about a mile southwest of the University of Oklahoma campus.
