For questions about computers, sometimes it's best to ask a geek.
On Monday, July 27, the Norman Public Library hosts another installment of the popular Ask the Geek computer class with Traci Stallings. The two-hour class begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Computer Training Center at the library, 225 N. Webster Ave. in downtown Norman.
Participants must have basic keyboarding and computer mouse skills for this class. Registration for the event is requested. Call 701-2620 to reserve a spot.
This session is titled "Beginner's Web Design" and will address the topics of accessibility standards, navigation techniques, audience needs, browser/platform concerns and connection speeds.
Stallings is the senior online marketing manager at AT--T Mobility and an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City Community College. She was once a technical trainer at Saxon Publishers Inc. and now continues to focus her career on computer education, training and development.
Stallings is a Norman resident and enjoys volunteering at her hometown library.
